Welcome to the Loft! We have been praying for you for a long time now - yes you! We are so glad you are here.

 

When we started in ministry thirty-eight (38) years ago, we were the young campus leaders of a vibrant student fellowship at KNUST. We had no idea at that time that by 1993 God would have called us to plant a church in Accra - Living Streams International (LSI). Our vision was Habakkuk 2:14, “that the Earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God, as the waters cover the sea.” Now with eight (8) different branches in Accra, two (2) in the UK and all the phenomenal experiences we have had preaching in Europe, the United States and Brazil, God has stretched our ministry beyond our wildest dreams.

 

In all our years of ministry, however, our heart has always been to raise young adults (like ourselves when we started ministry) to become generational leaders who reflect Jesus in every area of their lives. Our passion for young people remains unchanged. The Loft is for you. It was prayerfully designed to inspire, instruct and challenge you with the simple, profound, and life-changing Word of God. We are excited to see you grow here to become ‘a people-oriented person, passionate about God's Word, and pursuing His glory’ (the LSI Mission Statement).

WHO WE ARE

The Loft is a gathering; it is an encounter with Jesus.  At The Loft, young adults (ages 18 to 35) come together for life-changing moments of worship and prayer that move mountains. The Loft is designed to help you belong, no matter where you are at in your life. At the Loft everyone is welcome. The Loft is Biblically inspired by the story of the Upper Room (the Loft) where the disciples met “together in the upper room (the Loft) … with one mind and one purpose, continually devoting themselves to prayer” (Acts 1:13-14a, AMP)

 

As the first church in the Upper Room, the Loft is a place of unity, freedom, worship, the undiluted Word of God, evangelism, transformation and prayer. It is always so special when we get together (and there’s always food involved). Start your weekend on the right note with a powerful experience at the Loft.

WHAT TO EXPECT

 

SERVICE (LOFT SESSIONS)

Join us at LSI (behind Trade Fair) every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month from 6:30 pm – 8 pm.

 

WORSHIP

The Loft experience begins with passionate and energetic praise and worship from our worship team. We desire to worship God in spirit and in truth using a wide range of musical selections. Whether this is your first time or you are a regular attendee, you will not leave here the same.
 

PRAYER

At the Loft, prayer is paramount. Our name is inspired by the upper room (the Loft) in Acts 1, that transformed the world through the power of prayer. At the Loft, our seasoned pastors and leaders teach us how to pray (“Lord teach us to pray”, Luke 11:1).  We invite you to experience the transformative power of prayer at the Loft. At the end of service, you can receive personalised prayer from a member of our prayer team.  

 

MESSAGE

Each Loft Session will deliver a relevant, thought-provoking and engaging message that is Biblically-based. Feel free to take notes to get the most out of this week’s teaching.

 

LOVE DOSE & CONNECTIONS

Don’t rush out after service. Mingle and connect with someone you do not know in a relaxed and chill atmosphere at our refreshments lounge and discover deep, spiritual and like-minded friendships for a lifetime.

At the Loft, everyone is welcome. We are a family that celebrates the highs and the lows. We do life together. Operations

You are incredible at organising people and events, budgets and fundraising, spreadsheets and detailed Word documents – why not nurture your gifts in the house of God, future CEO? If you’re someone who gets things done or loves to organise and fundraise, this team provides you with the perfect opportunity to nurture and develop that skill.

 

Outreach

We have a burning desire to reach our community with the gospel and love of Jesus. If you have causes and people you genuinely care about and want to help us reach, plug into our team and help us fulfil Jesus’ Matthew 28:19-20 mandate to us!
